Stainless Steel Dissolved Oxygen Electrodes
High Quality Replacement Electrodes for your favorite
dissolved oxygen fermentation equipment at very competitive
prices.

Why pay full price when you can get these premium dissolved
oxygen electrodes at a fraction of the price?

Features
*The steam sterilizable family of dissolved oxygen electrodes
is specifically designed for fermentation where it is
necessary to subject electrodes to repeated steam
 sterilization.
*Dissolved oxygen electrodes are available in both
polarographic and galvanic styles to fulfill all
requirements. LAZAR electrodes are compatible with most
common O2 amplifiers found in fermentation. Polarographic
electrodes are designed to be used with Ingold IL þ, Cole-
Parmer þ and Applikon þ O2 amplifiers, or with other
amplifiers that are designed to be used with Ingold
 dissolved oxygen electrodes.
*Galvanic electrodes are designed to be used with New
Brunswick Scientific, LSL Biolafitte and Applikon O2
 amplifiers.
*The DO probes are available for laboratory fermentation
where sterilization takes place in a separate autoclave or
industrial applications where sterilization takes place in-
 situ.
*The easily replaced electrode membrane cartridge is a unique
feature of the LAZAR polarographic and NBS galvanic
dissolved oxygen electrode. The membrane is of special
construction -- a silicone and fluoropolymer composite,
reinforced
with stainless steel mesh. This unique membrane is very
rugged and allows for repeated sterilization without damage,
allowing it to withstand severe conditions. The electrode
operates without maintenance for 5 to 10 sterilizations,
fermentation cycles or, in terms of time, for 6 to 8 weeks.
*The electrode features external filling tubes. The
electrolyte can be replenished or filled during use without
removal from the vessel. The electrode is constructed
internally with a pressure compensated electrolyte chamber.
*The filling tubes on this electrode are closed and kept
inside the probe during sterilization and use. Biolafitte þ
type galvanic dissolved oxygen electrode features easily
replaceable FEP fluoropolymer membranes with external electrolyte
 filling tubes.
*The polarographic dissolved oxygen electrodes are available
with or without automatic temperature compensation. They
are designed to match the Ingold IL þ oxygen amplifier.
Temperature compensation is not normally required when
calibration is made at the same temperature as the
controlled fermentation temperature with no variation.

SEALED STEAM STERILIZABLE ELECTRODES FOR FERMENTATION pH/ORP
Sealed Non-Flowing Steam Sterilizable pH and Redox Electrodes Sealed Autoclave Electrodes for Bench Top Fermentors Sealed In-Situ Steam Sterilizable Electrodes for steam Sterilized In-place Fermentor
Sealed Non-Flowing Steam Sterilizable pH and Redox Electrodes
The sealed series of combination pH and redox electrodes encompasses the most recent design features in sealed electrode technology. The electrodes require no electrolyte replenishment during the life of the electrode. They do not require pressurization during steam sterilization, minimizing maintenance time and cost. These electrodes are designed to withstand repeated steam sterilization up to 130øC. SEALED AUTOCLAVABLE ELECTRODES FOR BENCH TOP FERMENTORS The autoclavable series of sealed electrodes is constructed with a double sealed reference reservoir. They are factory sealed and contain specially formulated high temperature KNO3 electrolyte, eliminating poisoning caused by the presence of certain ions, such as sulfide. The electrodes feature a large surface area annular ceramic junction, eliminating clogging that normally occurs in most electrodes used in fermentation. Sealed autoclavable electrodes have many advantages over the refillable type. These include reduction in maintenance costs and shorter down time after auto-claving. Sealed electrodes will operate under vacuum or pressure. The electrodes are designed to fit all standard benchtop 12mm electrode probe assemblies or rubber stoppers. In ordering these electrodes, specify the immersion length "A", determined by the immersion depth "H" of the probe plus 70mm. (Except Ingold probe 761-31, A = H + 50mm). FEATURES *No electrolyte refilling during use. *Double sealed reference reservoir. *The electrode requires low maintenance, saving time and cost. SEALED IN-SITU STEAM STERILIZABLE ELECTRODES FOR STEAM STERILIZED IN-PLACE FERMENTOR Sealed In-Situ Steam Sterilizable Electrodes This series of in-situ sealed steam sterilizable electrodes is designed for use in fermentors and reaction vessels where only the tip of the electrode is steam sterilizable inside the fermentor. The electrodes are designed to be used in existing Ingold type pressurized electrode probe assemblies. The standard cable series of electrodes will fit Ingold probe assemblies 763-35, 764-31, 764, 765, 768-35, and 769- 35. When these electrodes are used with the probe assemblies, no pressurization is required. The electrodes feature a sealed double junction reservoir with a specially formulated high temperature KNO3 electrolyte, eliminating poisoning caused by the presence of certain ions, such as sulphide. The reference junction is a large surface annular ceramic junction. This type of junction eliminates clogging that normally occurs in most electrodes used in fermentation. The standard cable for pH electrodes is one meter low-noise cable without connector. The DL series (detachable lead) electrode is used in the pHoenix Probe Assembly Part No. 4051021-S. Order the cable separately unless otherwise specified. The immersion length "A" is 120 mm. The immersion length "A" is determined by the immersion length "H" of the probe plus 50 mm. FEATURES *Pressurization is not required during sterilization. *No electrolyte refilling is required during the life of the electrode. *The electrode requires low maintenance, saving time and cost. GLASS BODY LOW COST DISPOSABLE O2 ELECTRODES This series of steam sterilizable electrodes is designed for economical use. They are constructed very similar to the standard pH electrodes, have a 10 and 12mm body, and can be ordered with the desired "H" length. "H" length is determined by the insertion depth on the under side of the fermentor headplate to the tip of the probe. Glass disposable electrodes are available in both polarographic and galvanic styles to fill all requirements. The glass DO probes are available for laboratory fermentation, where sterilization takes place in a separate autoclave. The disposable pHoenix Dissolved Oxygen Electrodes are compatible with most common oxygen amplifiers found in fermentation. Glass body oxygen electrodes are non-temperature compensated and are required to be kept at a constant temperature. Calibration must be made at the same temperature as the controlled fermentation. The electrodes feature external filling tubes. Electrolyte can be added during use without removing the electrode from the vessel. The electrode membranes can be replaced very easily. However, some skill is involved in replacing them. The polarographic type electrodes are to be used with Ingold, pHoenix amplifiers or amplifiers from other manufacturers designed to be used with Ingold DO electrodes. The galvanic type electrodes are designed to be used with NBS, LSL Biolafitte and pHoenix Electrode Co. amplifiers.
