Rapid determination of moisture in foods
The model KFS-186 Karl Fischer moisture measurement system is
ideal for low moisture level determinations below 5% total
moisture. The system is accurate down to less than 0.01%
moisture and is much more rapid than weight loss
determinations using a vacuum oven. Moisture can typically be
determined in 15 minutes or less per sample as compared to
several hours in a drying oven. This system is ideal for such
foods as freeze dried products, dehydrated foods, pasta, and
bulk ingredients. Can be used for both solid and liquid
samples. Comes complete with dual platinum electrode, sample
cell, 3 way burette, cell top, and Kf bottle adaptor.
